From 13 May you will be able to visit the fifth VSO expo free of charge at Stedelijk Museum Breda. The expo gives students in special secondary education at Breda College, Het Brederocollege and Visio Onderwijs a platform for their creative talents. The result is always a varied mix of paintings, pencil drawings and 3D images.
Again
The exhibition is the final piece of a project that starts with the student day. A group of teachers and students come up with an exhibition concept and the works that match it. For 2023, the theme and title of the exhibition are Again because the museum will reopen this year after a renovation and exhibitions with the VSO schools have again been created.
Museum by and for Breda
Stedelijk Museum Breda is a museum by and for the town. Our collaboration with special secondary schools is an important element of this, as the museum is keen for these students to experience what it is like to visit a museum and to present their work to a wide audience. The VSO expo is intended to highlight the creativity of students in special secondary education, and contribute to their cultural development. Ultimately, the goal is to make the museum accessible.
