Young People from Breda Take the Lead
Young people from Breda are taking the lead. How do we, as humans, interact with each other? They transform ideas and thoughts into visual art together with David Bade and young artists, .
From March to June 2025, Bade will be in Breda. At locations of Grote Broer Grote Zus in the neighborhoods of Hoge Vucht, Haagse Beemden, and Heuvel, he, Floor Snels, Daan van Bommel, Bas Steen, Bobbi Cleij, Jan Janssens, and Stijn Ros & Jesse Paauwe will work with groups of young people.
From April 24, 2026, the artworks of the young people and Bade himself will be showcased in the exhibition We Ok! at Stedelijk Museum Breda.
The young people are diving into themes such as giving, against, and enjoying. How do they envision the future? While creating, they explore these questions together with artist David Bade. It’s special to work so closely with an artist. Bade is also looking forward to the inspiring collaboration. In November, he already worked with various schools to shape the same questions. And with success!
This project is a collaboration between David Bade, Stedelijk Museum Breda, Grote Broer Grote Zus (GBGZ), KOP, and seven young artists.
